Probably about five or six years ago I had a dream. This wasn’t like any other weirdo dream I seem to have. This was very vivid and still is in my mind like it was yesterday.
You know how I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE! anything to do with stationery and office supplies, right? And how I absolutely love anything to do with organizing, right? And how I am a constant planner and list maker, right? Well I must have been channeling all those things during that dream of mine. It went a little something like this…
I owned my own stationery store where I designed note cards, invitations, organizational tools, pretty much anything to do with paper and cuteness. And, every day my family’s yellow lab, Abbey came to work with me. She would lay under my desk or sit by my side {we call those Abbey hugs} and if it was a beautiful day she would sit outside welcoming all who entered the store. The store’s name was of course, Yellow Dog Press.
We lost our girl Abbey two Christmases ago. She was something special I tell you. I knew in the back of my mind that someday, something would click and I would make Yellow Dog Press happen. So, you know that big huge secretive project/adventure/huge life dream I have been hinting at?
Yup, it’s Yellow Dog Press!!!

Just a little teaser/hype for you for now. I’ll keep you all posted when things start to get really real.
Since owning an actual location store is super expensive and I want all of you to be able to experience this with me, Yellow Dog Press will be available online this summer. Launch date will be officially announced in the next month or so.
